Thank you for this, Paul. My husband and best friend Bob passed suddenly this year, and it’s been a challenge. God has blessed me with support from others, like you.
Thank you, Paul. Your compassion touched me deeply to tears. And the song is powerful. Thank you for being you and sharing your light with us all.
2025 has been a hard year for many in our country and around the world. On a personal level your words reminded me of my best friend who lost her dear brother this year in a tragic boating accident soon after the fires in LA and her sister lost her home & came to live with my friend for many months. Then a couple months ago my friend suddenly woke up with severe abdominal pain. It was appendicitis & she was rushed to ER where she waited 6 hours to have her appendix removed and while waiting it burst. Her recovery has been long and painful but she’s much better now. She’s “still here.” I know she will appreciate what you wrote.
Thanks for sharing a bit of your experience of the past year - it's been a doozy for me too - and I have had a few already for perspective! Grateful, the universe finally helped us connect. Happy New Year! <3 P
Another fine offering, Paul. In many ways I can identify with being broken, not just by the events of 2025, but as you said, previous years we have all gone through and the accumulation of ALL THAT *WEIGHT* which in it's totality has often * felt* as if it was too much to bare. I am so grateful 🙏 for my Merciful, Ever-present and Infinitely Loving ❤️ Jesus Christ 🙏 who has insured me that he will surely supply not " some" of my needs, but absolutely ALL my needs, and as I have leaned into him more and more on a daily basis, I have not only been a " weight barer", I am truly a lifetime survivor and strong overcomer. Thank you, Paul, for being one of the people whose writing and compassion ❤️ resonate with me. I am blessed with a small " tribe" and,do I ever appreciate you ALL! With love and respect 🙏, Ann
This speaks out loudly to me for my father-in-law. He celebrated his 96th birthday this January, but is struggling with this “growing old” thing. He wants to be able to do what he loves and always used to do, but not much of that is possible now. Helping him to know that He is still Loved, 💝 no matter what, is so important. 🙏🏼❤️

Lynn, Your loss deserves quiet respect - I am so glad you are here with me! <3 Paul
